Regarded as the national treasure of Japan, Tadanori Yokoo is an artist known for his psychedelic works. However, it is little known that Yokoo is also a groupie. He managed to become a close friend of Yukio Mishima out of the admiration for him. He wanted to meet Dali, so he went to Spain to knock on the painter’s door. In the 1960s, Yokoo’s works began to gain popularity worldwide and he himself became an idol for a lot of celebrities overnight.
